Meet our NEW faculty here
Welcome to Dr. Yin's Violin & Piano Studio!
Yin Music Studio is rapidly emerging as one of the leading violin and piano studios in the Seattle area. Over the years, our students have been recognized as top prize winners in numerous prestigious competitions, including the Chicago International Music Competition, Vancouver International Music Competition, Washington State MTNA Outstanding Artist Competition, Vienna International Music Competition, Pacific NW Piano Competition, Performing Arts Festival of the Eastside, Singapore International Music Competition, and the Junior Bach Competition in the Bay Area, among many others.
In addition to their achievements in competitions and awards, our students have been selected for leadership positions as Concertmaster or Associate Concertmaster of the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra. They have also earned excellent results in the grade examinations of the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) and the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). Several outstanding students have been featured on National Public Radio’s From the Top, the RCM Certificate Program’s Top Students Northwest Regional Celebrations of Excellence Recital, and the ABRSM Global High Scorers' Concert.
Motivated by a strong commitment to service, our students strive to use their talents to create a meaningful impact within the community. In 2024, a group of students established the Melody for Change Junior Guild in partnership with Seattle Children’s Hospital, with the mission of supporting cancer care and research through musical performance and outreach. Within less than a year, the guild successfully raised over $10,000 and remains steadfast in its dedication to continuing this impactful initiative. To learn more about Melody for Change and meet some of the students involved, please visit their official website here and their Seattle Children’s Hospital page here.
